Privacy policy

People use InterviewPS while looking for work, so we collect as little as we can and never show who you are. This page says what we keep, why, and how to remove it.
What we collect
Account: your email address (to send sign-in codes), the display name and handle you choose, and, if you give them, your region, seniority, the professions you follow and an interview date.
What you do in the app: which answers you opened (to count your 15 free answers), your "I was asked this" ticks, your verdicts on answers, and what you contribute: notes, answers, voice recordings, interview reports, success stories, posts and reports.
If you leave an email for a private follow-up on an answer, we use it only to contact you about that answer. It is never shown to anyone.
Feedback you send, with the screen you sent it from, the app version and the platform.
Notifications: if you allow push notifications, a device token so we can tell you about replies.
What we never do
We do not sell your data, show ads, or show presence (no online status, last seen or read receipts). Other users see only your display name, handle and what you chose to publish.
Analytics and crash reports
Usage analytics are off until you turn them on in Settings. When on, we record which screens and features are used, without the text you write. Crash reports record technical details of an error so we can fix it.
Payments
Purchases go through Apple, Google (managed by RevenueCat) or Stripe. We receive whether you are subscribed and until when, never your card details.
Where it is stored
Data is stored with Supabase (database, sign-in, file storage). The web app is hosted by Netlify. Sign-in emails are sent by our email provider. These providers process data only to run the service.
How long we keep it
As long as you have an account. When you delete your account in Settings we delete your profile, email, ticks, verdicts, pending submissions, private follow-up emails and voice recordings. Content we already approved stays in the app, credited to "Former member", and feedback stays without your name.
Your rights
You can see and edit your profile in the app and delete everything above at any time from Settings. For anything else, including a copy of your data, use Feedback in the app.
Children
InterviewPS is for working engineers and is not intended for anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before it applies.
